The NAPA Autotech XcceleratoR program accelerates career readiness by leveraging cutting-edge extended reality (XR) simulations, AI-driven practice modules, and real-time remote support. Through immersive, first-person XR evaluations, it quickly gauges repair technicians’ skill levels and accurately identifies knowledge gaps—without compromising hands-on experience.
On the job, learners benefit from augmented reality (AR)-enabled smart glasses paired with real-time support from AI or live experts, helping to reduce errors and minimize downtime. The program seeks to shorten technician training from years to just weeks by integrating immersive first-person simulations with AI-powered feedback.
In addition, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has acknowledged the NAPA Autotech XcceleratoR program as a viable route for substantially shortening the ASE’s standard work experience requirement.
