By combining driver surveys with real-world telematics data, the analysis shows how vehicles are actually used, identifies which EVs are the best fit, and creates a customized roadmap for adoption. McKinstry, a national construction and energy services firm, used that approach to support its goal of electrifying more than 860 vehicles by 2030. GM Fleet’s analysis confirmed that the Silverado EV could meet the company’s demanding operational needs, helping drive the addition of 114 EVs—including 100 Silverado EVs—to its fleet. The company also identified opportunities to reduce fuel and maintenance costs while easing range concerns and creating a practical path for continued electrification.
